Mattress Protector Size

Hi Britchap,

However, the cushion and foam pulls the overall height of the mattress to about 13 inches. St. Dormeir recommends using the regular size of the protector for mattresses up to 12". For 13" or above, they recommend a larger size. The catch is that the larger size pushes the price up significantly. It seems like a minor point, but I am unsure which size to purchase. Would I be risking that the protector would be too tight if I order the regular size?

The larger 24" thickness is usually less than $20 more than the 16" thickness (see here for example) so the difference isn’t very much but as you can see in post #2 here you will likely be fine with the 16" size although both of them would work
