Winkbeds is advertised as a very well built mattress but I was given the following specs.
Gel infused Hypersoft foam 1.8lb
Premium gel foam 1.8lb
Support cell foam 2.5lb
Lumbar layer 1.8lb
Atlas Base Foam 1.5lb.
These densities would fall short of the durability guidelines listed here but this is supposed to be a very durable, well built mattress. Am I reading this wrong?

Good question - these densities are on the low end of what we’d consider for a mattress that’s meant to have good durability - other factors will also play into this. If you’re of a low or average body weight, this mattress is going to last longer than if you’re a heavier weight. Other things to consider would be the bed frame (is it adequate for the mattress?), number of sleepers, activities on the mattress, etc.
The other thing to keep in mind is just because they say it’s durable doesn’t mean it is - of course they’re going to promote their own product as having longevity. But if people are reviewing 5 - 10 years down the line, that’s something worth factoring in.
