Hi, I’m wondering if anyone would have a recommendation on a mattress store near Watertown, NY.
We’re looking for mattresses that are 30 inches wide by 72-75 long to fit into bunk beds. Any advice on what we could find for this type of mattress? Searching online seems to turn up primarily foam mattresses - we’ve never really tried those, and I think I’d prefer going with an innerspring mattress. Do any manufacturers standardly make them in this size? Could they be custom made? What would be a decent price range for a mattress like this for a summer camp where kids would sleep on these mattresses for a couple months?

While 30" wide isn’t a normal size, many mattress licensees can make that for you. A Bonnell unit is easily configured to that width and you can stay with the standard twin length of 74"-75". Don’t be surprised if it costs more than a regular twin. Phoenix might have a line on licensees in your area.
Cot mattresses that are made with polyfoam are generally more common but a manufacturer that makes custom sizes should be able to make you an innerspring cot mattress as well. Since they are more for temporary use and don’t need to be the best quality somewhere in the few hundred dollar range should be fine depending on the quality of the springs and the foam on top of the spring. Foam mattresses will generally be less than an innerspring mattress and if the foam is reasonable quality will be suitable in terms of durability as well (I would make sure the polyfoam is about 1.5 lb density or higher).
