Mattresses247 Warranty and Shipping Question

Hi MrM1,

To begin with, let me say I think Mattress Warranties in general are pretty useless and create a false sense of security. In most (if not all) cases, your mattress will only be warranted if it has a major fail and is clearly do to a component defect. Often this is hard to prove. That said … I have been able to get one inner spring mattress warranty replaced.

As you probably know from your reading here … I couldn’t agree with you more and a mattress warranty has very little to do with the useful life of a mattress and how long you will sleep well on it (see post #174 here).

But After the purchase I did realize that I did not see who, if anyone warranted the Mattresses sold by M247. I have seen a few threads where this was kicked around, but never saw where anyone actually found out for sure if there was a warranty. Not that it really matters, but did anyone find out if these Latex Beds have any kind of Warranty beyond M247’s 30 return policy?

The warranty would depend on whether you purchased an actual mattress with separate components that had passed the fire regulations “as a mattress” in which case the warranty would be provided by the manufacturer or whether you purchased 3 latex layers and a cover as individual components (not an actual mattress) in which case I believe the warranty is 3 years according to this post.

A forum search on mattresses 24/7 and mattresses247 (you can just click both links) will bring up more information and feedback about them and with a very quick scan I say a couple of posts that indicated delivery was around a couple of weeks (although I probably missed some so you may want to check them in more detail).
