I mentioned I might be interested in a memory foam mattress by the above company. In reading your reply there was a mention to be careful since they were know to use foam from China. I went back on their website and found six claims they make about their mattresses. The two that were most important to me was: 1. PRODUCTS 100% MADE IN AMERICA FROM MATTRESSES TO PACKAGING. 2. THEY TESTED AND HAVE BEEN CERTIPUR-APPROVED. Both show a round seal. I bring this to your attention since I have been fooled in the past by claims made by Satbed. Can they be saying something false here. I have decided not to go with them. I am having my back alignment checked by my doctor. I am also putting in a lot of study time into your information on selecting different layers for my mattress. A lot of information to absorbed, but it makes me believe this time I will get it right.
Hi cinn,
The claim you would need to see and validate is that the foam is manufactured in the USA … not the mattress.
For example their FAQ says this …
Where are your mattresses made?
We are proud to say that our Mattresses are created and assembled in the USA.
And this says nothing about where the foams are made. The wording is very “careful”.
This would be OK if they were on the CertiPur list which is here* … but they aren’t.

I emailed CertiPur to ask about them and whether they are authorized to use their logo and hopefully I will have a reply sometime next week.
They are a brand new company with no information about who is behind them or where they come from and there are certainly enough question marks that I would be cautious in dealing with them at this point.
