Mom's Sealy Posturepedic

My mom’s bed “fell” 4 inches all around the edges. Is this normal wear and tear or is it a manufacturer’s defect? The bed is 8 years old.

Yes it is very tough to know or comment without photos to provide some context on what the issue is but it would be best to bring this up with the retailer you purchased from or Sealy directly if they are unable to assist you.
