I just wanted to introduce my shop - Moss Envy. My wife (Tina) and I (Ryan) have been selling organic mattresses since 2008. We feature the upper Midwest’s largest selection of organic mattresses and happily show them off on our sales floor! We’ve sold hundreds of mattresses to (mostly) Minnesotans and across the country. Actually, people have driven from Canada, Wisconsin, the Dakotas, Michigan, and Wisconsin to get their bodies on our mattresses! We feature mostly Savvy Rest and Naturepedic. Our staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and would love to help you through the journey of picking out a comfortable and healthy mattress. We are not on commission and pride ourselves on being real people trying to sell, not sales people trying to be real.

I appreciate your introduction and any contributions you may share with the forum but I also wanted to mention that the rules of the forum are a little different here and while I welcome any educational information that is focused on generic materials or mattress designs … self promotional information or information that in any way is designed to promote sales, refers to a specific mattress that you carry, or invitations to try your mattresses are not allowed unless one of the members here asks a specific question about one of your mattresses in which case of course any information you are able to share would certainly be welcome.

I recently purchased a Pure Latex Bliss mattress and noticed it sleeps a little warmer than my previous innercoil mattress. I have been looking at the royal-pedic line as I like that they dont use foam and also use wool. Does naturepedic compare at all to these and do you have any other suggestions

In my experience - I think all “foam” based mattresses, be it natural or synthetic, will sleep warmer than a coil based bed. The adult Naturepedic mattresses use a little bit of wool to help achieve that flame resistance - I consider it one of the best innerspring mattresses out there. I might also suggest looking at a wool mattress pad. Wool is awesome and helps regulate your temperature and wick away moisture. Great for warm sleepers or “hot flashes!”
