Your site was recommended by a very helpful salesperson at Spindle Mattresse. I’m happy to have found such a great resource of information. Due to many chemical, some wool sensitivities, and reappearance of seasonal carpet beetles in a few areas of my home, I’ve abandoned my previous decision to buy a natural wool mattress, and instead began searching for a US poured latex mattress core, with organic cotton cover, no wool surround, with an organic cotton topper. I would not mind assembling the mattress myself from various sources, if I can find an organic bug barrier cloth encasement. Visiting the manufacturer, and having info on the storage procedure, is important to me because, due to health condition, I can not use anything housed in a water damaged building. Would you know of any manufacturers within 60 miles of zip code 10952, who would allow me to visit and try out the materials? I still need to read your manual to find out if what I have in mind is going to be good for me and my spouse. May post on that elsewhere, but these health concerns are where I’m starting since they are non-negotiable.
Also, I’m all looking for recommendations for creative, not costly, choices for local all wood slatted bed frames.

I’m sorry to hear about your MCS. I know that can make it very difficult when looking for many products, including a mattress.
I’m not familiar with your area, but I did a quick search online and I did find one store that features quite a few organic style products called Sleep Works. I know nothing of the store, but they are right around 60 miles form your location, according to Google. They might be a good place to start.
