Natura reversible wool on top mattress pad

Does anyone have this wool mattress pad and how would you rate it? Does it have a sheep smell?

I know that these sometimes have a strong odor and I’m sensitive to this. I have a latex mattress that I like, but I have always liked the feel of an exposed wool pile under the fitted sheet. I have the St. Dormier terry cloth/wool pad, It’s okay, but it does not give a plush surface feel like a lofted wool pad. This Natura wool pad is reversible, with cotton on the other side.
