Hi! I am mattress shopping and hoping for some help. I’m looking for a natural or organic mattress that is made in the USA. I’m a side sleeper, 5’7 and 145 pounds. Hoping to stay around $1200 or so for a full.
My current mattress is an Amazon purchase 8 years ago for something like $300. I’m currently waking up with back pain daily, and I’m thinking it’s time to get a better quality mattress.
I’m currently leaning towards Sleepez. I like that it is a bit thicker (14 inch) and has coil, latex and wool hybrid. I’m not certain I like that it has a firm side and a medium-firm side. Seems like it will just reduce the amount of life I’ll get out of it, as flipping won’t be an option. It also has a 10 year warranty, which is less than some competitors. Do I need a 20 year warranty? Avocado and My Green Mattress are also ones I’m considering. They are both a bit less thick at 11 inches.
I’m open to other suggestions so please fire away! This is the first time I’ve put real thought into a mattress purchase, rather than buying a cheap option or getting a hand me down. I appreciate any help!
