Hi jgilbert,
Welcome to the community and forum.
Nectar is a very difficult mattress to recommend. When you look through the education areas of The Mattress Underground, you have the advantage of learning about the components that make up the construction and build of a mattress. We very much frown upon mattresses with lower quality foams in terms of durability and longevity. I think their memory foam is down around 2.2 lb, which is considerably below the absolute minimum of 3.5–4 lb for memory foam—unless the mattress is otherwise something extraordinary.
Even then, a mattress will only be as good as its weakest layer. So one low-quality foam layer of more than 1 inch is something to shy away from.
Having said that, any mattress that feels comfortable and is in your price range—and you know all the characteristics regarding that mattress going into it—is certainly acceptable if that is where your budget meets the comfort.
In that Nectar price range, but with a mattress made here in the U.S. with better quality materials, you may want to look at two mattresses: The Brooklyn Bedding – CopperFlex
or the Glacier Sleep Original.
The copperflex series is available in both all foam and hybrid options. Personal preferences, body weight, height and sleep position will be your guide to which is best, but both the copperflex and glacier sleep are designed for all position sleepers.
Both of these are similar-feeling mattresses, both made here in the U.S. with much improved components over the foreign-made Nectar. In that sub $800 range for a Queen.
Hope this helps a bit,
Maverick
