I’m looking to buy a latex hybrid (I think) in a split king for adjustable beds, with good edge support and cooling. My husband is 5’10" 155 lbs. and I’m 5’8" 135 lbs. He sleeps on his back and side (has sleep apnea) and I sleep on my side and stomach (have back pain). I’m thinking of Birch Luxe, Leesa Natural Hybrid and Avocado Green. I can try all of them out in a showroom because I’m reluctant to buy without trying. I assume they would work on any adjustable base. Any suggestions?

A lot of them are built similar to each other, springs with latex and usually a layer of wool and cotton cover. The initial offerings from most brands are almost always medium-firm, with the birch luxe being medium because it’s the next step up from the birch original.

It would be worth your time to check out the Naturepedic line of mattresses. Their EOS Classic is a tried and well tested mattress that you can customize in a TXL or King size. Also the budget friendly Serenade mattress is worth a try. Both models are adjustable friendly.

Thanks. I tried out Naturepedic, Avocado and then Helix. For some reason I actually felt best on the Helix Twilight Elite. Still looking.
