Need opinions on my two choices - or something else?

I am 30 years old, very small (5’0" and 100 lbs), and currently sleep on an Original Purple, which I absolutely hate after a year and a half. I sleep hot, and have noticed a lot of back and shoulder pain recently with the mattress. I am a combination sleeper (truly all over the place, side, back, and stomach, but I think primarily side and stomach) and I have been looking into new mattresses, however, it is difficult to tell whether I will be getting the benefits of the mattress with my weight.

I am currently looking at the Engineered Sleep Classic Hybrid and the DLX Classic Original. I feel like I would like to go back to a more normal mattress, and also most of the mattresses on the market are too heavy for my bed frame (it pops up with storage underneath, 90 ish lb limit). I also want to keep it under 1,000 dollars for a full size. What is recommended?

Hi @aepow - thank you for the info and for tagging us in your post.

To dive right in - based on your comments I would imagine you are looking at our Classic Hybrid 10" mattress. If so, I agree with that being your best pick of the 3. Even at 100lbs it will still have some give to it, but it definitely has that traditional mattress, responsive feel and you will not sink into it nearly as much as the average person.

It does fall under the 90lb weight limit and it is under $1,000. So it checks those boxes!

Overall, I think it is a good option for you! You could also look at the Today Mattress if you are interested in an initial Memory Foam feel (only 1" of Memory Foam).

Happy to discuss more and my email is [email protected].

The Classic 12" is around 90 pounds in a full. This video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eexugOgkBQw does a good job of showing the 12" Classic. There are people of similar build and sleep preferences who do well on the Classic 12", but it is a matter of personal preference, so your mileage may vary. The Classic 12" has a more traditional feel and leans slightly firmer than most mass-market mattresses.
