Need Options for Adjustable Base that Inclines

I’m looking for an adjustable base to go under my soon-to-be-purchased 100% latex mattress. I need to elevate my head 6" above my feet with no dip in the middle. The entire bed must incline, not just the head and feet. My old Flobeds’ frame and mattress have been on a simple incline insert that has worked well. But the new mattress warranty may require a platform-type base.

I can find only two that provide total incline:

Both of these bases have more bells and whistles than I need (e.g., remote control, Alexa compatible, or programmable). Other than these two, does anyone know of others?

I am pretty certain, but I will have to double check, the dawn house adjustable bed inclines as well as the Customatic Technologies Adjustable Base

Also Rize makes several models which you can add their tilt base, so it will perform that tilt function.

Hi Eweforia.

Welcome to our Mattress Forum.

It sounds like you do have some pretty specific needs! Another option I’ve heard of is the Glideaway (with tilt kit) as well as the Ergopedic iTilt base.

I think the unfortunate “side effect” of your specific needs are that you’ll end up with bells and whistles you don’t necessarily want. Do let us know which you end up getting!

Thanks! Just wait till I post my questions concerning mattresses. They are equally specific! The Glideaway is what Symphony Sleep’s beds were previously branded as. That is currently at the top of my list. I hadn’t run across the iTilt. The videos and motion diagrams on their site are the most customer-centric I’ve seen. I think that Symphony Sleep is probably equally constructed and better value. I’ll know more after I’ve spoken to them. The company itself has been unresponsive to my phone and email messages. A retailer, Rest Right Mattress, was very quick to respond to my email, so I’ll call him after the holidays.

Thanks, Maverick. The first two you listed are head/foot tilt rather than full-body incline, from what I can see. I’ve emailed them to ask. The Remedy III is sold by Rize and is on my list. They sell a “Rizer kit” that provides full incline for this bed. It is pricier than Symphony Sleep, however.

Thats weird, I thought the dawn house had hydraulics that raised the bed flat and then tilted. Unless they discontinued that model.

Sorry about that.

Have a great holiday.

Maverick

I deeply regretted getting the Rize Remedy III. There is an auto pillow tilt if you look at the YouTube video, but not clear on the website. It gave me a lot of neck pain.
