and i just wanted to say thank you to the admins of this site. For starters, being able to find knowledgeable, unbiased research and specific information to make an educated decision is invaluable. Secondly, being able to compile a list of manufacturer’s/sellers who will stake their reputation on being objectively reviewed and over anyone willing to take the time to do it a sizable discount.

Thanks again.

P.S. I can confirm the offer from Tuft & Needle (organic latex, minimal frills) offers a 6.5% discount when name dropping Mattress Underground. Also, Steven at T&N offered to expedite my assembly to shipping process so that i don’t have to be long at my new place without a bed and can ditch my old bed pre-move (one less thing…).

Hi grubatpulix,

Thanks for the kind words … and welcome

Just to clarify your comments here … the Tuft & Needle mattresses are made from polyfoam (which isn’t organic). The polyfoam they use is a good quality material in the 1.8 - 2 lb range but it’s not in the same quality/durability range as latex.

Hello, Mattress Underground! Thank you so much for this highly informative website. I’ve read almost every word of every section. It’s been very helpful as I am just beginning my search for a new mattress, after 10 or 12 years with an airbed. You’re worth a donation, which I’ll make right after this post. Good luck with the continued success of your website.

Hi bluebirdlane,

Thanks for your kind words as well and I’m also glad you found us.

I’m also looking forward to finding out what you end up deciding and of course any comments and questions you may have along the way.

PS: I switched your post to a more “general” topic since the OP of the topic you posted in may wish to keep it open for their own comments or questions.
