Wanted to take a quick second to say hi and I am very thankful for this forum. There is a LOT of helpful info here. I am the type of person who likes to be be informed before making product purchases and am very thankful for product specific forums such as this, (I have also used a water heater forum and a vinyl window forum to help me make educated purchases in the past).

Don’t really have any questions but here is a little info if anyone has any advice they wish to give.

Queen mattress
Both myself and the wife are fairly light, (I’m 145, she is 135).
Both prefer stomach sleeping the most with side sleeping in second place. Neither like back sleeping.
Currently have a 10 y/o double sided inner spring pillow top with a memory foam topper. It has no more support left and we have both been waking up sore.
We both agree a firmer more supportive mattress is needed.

I had looked online at various retailers and compiled a short list before finding this site. Reading through the site has led to me removing most all of the mattresses I found from consideration. I am currently leaning towards Brooklyn Bedding / Dreamfoam.

Also considering some form of latex.

Well before I ramble on too much, thanks again for this forum and I will update with my decisions later.

Hi Whatnoise,

Welcome … and thanks for the kind words. I’m glad you found us

You’ve probably read this already but just in case … post #1 here has the basic information, steps, and guidelines that can help you make the best possible choices.

Dreamfoam is one of the better online options available and have some great quality and value mattresses.

If you also want to include local options in your research as well then if you let me know your city or zip I’d be happy to let you know of any of the better options or possibilities I’m aware of in your area.

Good luck !

Phoenix

Thanks Phoenix,

Yes I have already read through the basic info.

I’m just outside of Memphis and have already found your list of places in the area  I plan to go check out a few before making any final decisions.
