Appreciate any recommendations for manufacturers/retailers of double sided offset innerspring mattresses in the Southern California area. Hoping to find some quality, local if possible, options besides the typical “S” brands but it seems to be a difficult task these days.
Cheers.
Hi Lantern71.
I ended up going down a Google rabbit hole on this type of mattress. Surprisingly it yielded quite a number of Amish manufacturers. Not sure if there’s a nearby local Amish community (I’m from Southern CA myself snd so I know what I’m saying here…haha) but that may be worth looking into since it appears to be a specialty of theirs.
I’m hoping someone can hop in and offer practical advice from experience purchasing one of these mattresses in Southern CA. Have any of the big S brands seemed particularly promising or attractive? I’d be happy to look into them a little for/with you to see if any is decent and worth considering.

I have some amish furniture but not mattresses. Mattresses are also not their forte.
Most of the S brands I have tried have a too much cheap poly/memory foam on top of the springs. Not go for me. Also expensive.
I have one shop near me does .5" poly and cotton batting over springs. They then use a latex topper for the comfort layer. Very expensive though.
Too bad there is not something like an Original Mattress Factory out here.
