Morning all,
My wife and I received our mattress yesterday and put it together last night. It wasn’t a bad process, but she was much better at lining up the layers. While I was unrolling the layers, I noticed that they were all turning out to be, um, upside down. Maybe a better description would be the finished looking side was down.
At the time I didn’t think anything about it and I slept fine, but I can’t stop thinking that we have an upside down bed. So, is there a right side or an upside to the layers and if so how much of a difference would it make to swap them around?
Thanks,
Robert
Hi Robert,
Thank you for your inquiry!
While there technically is no top or bottom to the latex layers, our answer is to have the bigger holes on top to keep it consistent. Also, it doesn’t make a difference in regards to firmness to have the bigger holes facing up or down. Just make sure the mattress was assembled according to this instructional video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIyq-buy4LQ&t=9s
Hope that helps! You are not the first to ask the question
