Hi all! Thanks to the info from this site, I bought a soft king mattress from Oklahoma Mattress Company with a medium 2" latex mattress topper. I’ll let y’all know how it goes, but I am expecting it to be great.

As you know I think highly of Jim and Oklahoma mattress and they certainly have some great quality/value mattresses.

So I’m about a month in now, and I love it. I don’t wake up with my back hurting like i used to on the old, probably worn out memory foam mattress (3" memory foam, 9" polyfoam - polyfoam showing wear, memory foam fine). It took my wife a little longer to start liking the mattress, but she likes it now too. It’s very comfortable, and seems to be very high quality. The only real adjustment I’ve had to make is it is very different going back to a spring mattress from a memory foam one. When someone moves, it is noticeable.
