Ordered Sleep EZ 10,000- don't forget the DISCOUNT!!!

We just ordered our Sleep EZ 10,000. Jeremy was incredibly helpful and no pressure. We got a split Cal King with my wife’s side Soft/ Med/Firm and my side is Med/Firm/Extra Firm. We can’t wait. No more sleeping in separate rooms and me on the floor. A big lesson learned is to not let mattress company take your old mattress when you get a new one  When we returned it we had nothing to sleep on.

Also, remember to mention the Mattress Underground discount. Jeremy was happy to take off the addition 5%. That pays for about half the tax here. Then free delivery helps a lot as well.

Thanks a lot Phoenix for the site. I learned a lot and read many posts from many users on the site that helped. Your direct responses to me and others were (and are) very helpful.

Hi Krnndug,

Congratz on the new mattress!

My wife and I are looking at the Sleep EZ 10,000 with topper vs 13,000 also. We tried a Savvy Rest here locally to get a similar feel to the Sleep EZ. I have spoken to Shawn a few times on the phone and he has been real helpful in answering questions.

Do you know since you visited the store did their layers at all appear to have any zoning to them? I saw that the flobeds offered that and I believe the SR may of had some zoning in them because when you look at the layer the holes punched in the layer are different in the middle third. I didn’t ask Shawn this yet because I just was reading about the zoning of the flobeds.

Did you try any of their toppers out? I know this gave the bed a different feel for us.

Let us know how you like the bed!

Hi krnndug,

Thanks for letting us know what you ended up deciding … and congratulations on your new mattress

It’s great that you were also able to test in person what most of their customers have to order online so you had the best of all worlds … including first hand experience with their “in person” knowledge and service.

I’m looking forward to your feedback and any updates you have the chance to share once you’ve slept on it for a bit.

I looked at the Flobeds as well. I like the thought of zoning but wasn’t convinced for the many extra $ for the bed and the foundation was a lot more. The good thing about both is that they have excellent return policies. I was torn regarding the v-zones and the convolute layer. Makes sense, but not enough in my opinion. I am sure I would be very happy with the Flobed if I bought one.

The none of the regular latex mattresses I saw at Sleep EZ, Arizona Premium, Arizona Organic Mattresses and another factory had any zoning. In talking with Jeremy he said they tried it a few years ago, but the increased cost in doing it (both labor and material) put them out of where they want to price their mattresses. Makes sense, since all the factories and stores get their latex from just a couple of suppliers the added cost has to be somewhere.

We did not try a topper, but we did try both the 10,000 and 13,000. In reading posts and with some input from Phoenix, my size didn’t warrant spending more for the 13,000. Being an analytical kind of guy, I always seem to want to spend more because I think more is better (more bacon is better). What I like about the layers is that if I feel I want more softness I can swap the Med layer of my wife’s for my Firm layer and see how it feels.

Good luck with your search. I feel really comfortable with Sleep EZ. I went there probably 6 or 7 times and was welcomed every time instead of feeling like an intrusion (like I felt at some traditional stores). I have heard & read good things from Flobeds and APM & my interactions with them were also very good.

Hi krndug,

I didn’t call Flobeds yet. I read some posts and just started looking at the Flobeds. I was more inclined with Sleep EZ due to the similarities with Savvy Rest.

I am 260 lbs and the topper gave some nice comfort for me. Not that the 3 layers of foam wasn’t comfortable. It just was a softer plusher feel with the comforter. The comforter with Sleep EZ is also customizable just like the mattress. The downside of the comforter over the 13,000 is it is a few hundred bucks more but that is also because the comforter we were looking at includes more wool.

I didn’t see any beds that really peaked my interest with APM online. My wife and I thought it was best that if we went the online purchase route that we wanted something that emulated the feel of mattresses we tried and liked.

Thanks for your input greatly appreciated.

Hi Krnndug!

I just wanted to let you know that my wife and I also decided on the Sleep EZ 10,000.

Your reported in person experience with Sleep EZ and reports helped us on making our online mattress purchase, along with Shawn from Sleep EZ very knowledgable, helpful and no pressure at all on purchasing a mattress.

If you are interested in what we got you can check out our mattress purchase here. I will try to make sure I update my post with how we make out with our new mattress!

Thanks!

Thanks for the update. I like your setup. We got ours yesterday. Karen slept very well. Me, ok. I was worried it might have been to firm before but he suggested that I could change layers from Karen’s side to see how it feels. That would be pretty tedious with the mattress cover, sheets etc. I am expecting it to be better each night. Very prompt and we got the 2 pillows also. Need to get a cover for it since their cover is thin.

Can’t wait to see your updates.

Congrats.
Doug

Thanks krnndug,

On a note about the mattress cover, the warranty is voided if any stains are on the mattress/mattress cover according to Shawn. This would include sweat, water, drool, etc. This is a standard in the mattress industry so just a heads up if you did not realize it. A stain would also possible void the 90 day return policy.

We talked about testing layers from my wife’s side also if mine seemed to firm. The medium talalay on top the medium tally should give a somewhat plush but firm feel to the mattress.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I bought one and also a Layla mattress.

I just ordered the sleep ez 1300 for my wife and I after reading all of the good reviews on here. I tried getting the TMU discount, but because the current special is better than the TMU discount I couldnt get it as they wont use both. I am nervous about ordering online as it’s my first online mattress purchase, and excited to try it out as my current bed is causing me back pain. It should hopefully ship after the holidays. We have ordered a king split. Her side soft, med, firm, xfirm and mine med, med ,firm, xfirm. Hopefully this combo works well for us!

Thanks shawnd for sharing! There are occassions when members run promotions that have a greater discount that that provided through this site. We are glad you were able to take advantage of it. While there is uncertainty in trying anything new for the first time, you should take solice in knowing that you are buying a mattress from a category leader and trusted member of this site as well as that you have both the ability to adjust your mattress layers and the option to return for a refund. Please let us know how your new SleepEZ mattress sytem works for you.
