I’m pretty sure someone out there makes a shredded Dunlop pillow, but it might not be the only way to achieve the results you’re after.
Take this pillow, for example – we know it’s Dunlop because it’s certified organic, and only Dunlop latex can hold that certification. It looks like this one and this one are also made from Dunlop latex.
As you can see, there are plenty of certified organic shredded latex pillows available. Here’s a partial list from my pillow search.
Through my research, I’ve learned that randomly shredded foam isn’t as comfortable as uniformly cut foam. Many types of shredded foam can be hard and lumpy, regardless of the material. Check out this video on the Saybrook Memory Foam Pillow website to see what I mean.

While the blue foam isn’t perfectly uniform, it’s much closer than the other two. In this next picture, when the foam is isolated, the blue foam looks more consistent, whereas the middle one has more air bubbles, making the fill need to work harder to maintain its structure. Which is why they add the other fibers into the fill of the pillow.
Keep in mind it was easier for me to present the example of how foams are cut/shredded with these memory foam samples as the pictures were easily available, but if you were to look at some pictures of latex cuts and shreddings, you would see a similar difference

From all my pillow experiments, I’ve found that pillows with more uniform fills tend to be the most comfortable.
That said, I don’t mean to say that a pillow with mixed-size pieces can’t be comfortable! The best example of a shredded pillow that works well for this is the CozyPure noodle pillow. The noodle-shaped foam pieces make the pillow less lumpy and help it distribute the filling more evenly when you rest your head on it. It creates a surprisingly comfy sleeping surface, almost like the pillow is solid, but without the same “push back” and bouncy bobble heard feeling you get from a solid latex pillow (whether Dunlop or Talalay).
Sometimes when I lie on my CozyPure or the noodle pillows I’ve made myself, they provide a soft, cuddly feel—almost like memory foam. But they’re lighter and softer against the head, giving more of a supportive, “floating” feel.
I also tried a latex/wool Baa-Noodle CozyPure pillow. Despite it being well-filled, it was too soft for me right out of the bag. Luckily, I had ordered extra noodles and could adjust the pillow to the right firmness and loft. Now, it’s one of my top 3 go-to pillows, depending on how I’m feeling.
