Please help with latex mattress topper configuration

Hello,

We recently purchased a new mattress from My Green Mattress. It is their King size Natural Escape. We love the new mattress, but unfortunately, it is a bit firm and does not alleviate my shoulder and hip pain, and I wake up at night and mornings with arm and thumb numbness. I do not have any medical conditions that would explain this.

From reading many posts and comments here on this forum, I know a mattress topper would help. So here are our specs:

Me: 128 lbs, 5’6”, slim, very lean, side sleeper, age mid 60s. Experiencing arm numbness, hip/shoulder pain.

Husband: 197 lbs, 6’, slightly “overnourished” build, side/back/stomach sleeper, age early 70s. No issues at all

I would like to get a Talalay topper. 2” or 3”? Soft or Medium? Any brand recommendations?

Like I said, it will go on the Natural Escape hybrid coil/latex mattress. Taken from the website, the latex is three inches of organic 100% all-natural Dunlop latex (22-24 ILD / Density: 65).

As you can see, the topper needs to match my needs, as my husband can sleep through a nuclear war. Thanks all in advance.

Hi Cattoo,

The organic latex can take some time to fully break in and time for your body to get adjusted to the new mattress. A topper can definitely help to give the surface a more softer plusher feel for additional contouring and pressure relief. Please email us at [email protected] and we can have our team discuss our topper and go over recommendations for you.
