Plushbeds 3" Medium Topper?

Hello all!

Has anyone purchased the Plushbeds 3” medium topper? Someone recommended it to me, but they have a strict no return policy and are only available online, no showrooms whatsoever. Customer service is also not very friendly or helpful (unlike Sleep on Latex- they deserve 5+ stars!).

I think it may be a great option to place on top of my 3” firm Sleep on Latex layer that I have right now, but it’s hard to tell without trying it. I have been experimenting for several months and getting the right set up is no joke! I am 105 pounds and have a herniated low back disc, so I need support for back sleeping but also enough pressure relief for side sleeping. The struggle has been real. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hey cupcake25.

Is there a particular reason you’re looking at the PB topper and not an equivalent from SOL? Is it a price-point thing?

Hi Nikki!

So the SOL soft topper is 20 ILD and the PB brand is 28 ILD. I think 28 ILD would work better for my herniated disc situation, but I have not tried the SOL 3 inch soft topper yet. I tried the 2 inch SOL soft topper though, but am in the process of returning! It was good for back sleeping but a bit too firm for side sleeping. I think the 2 inch vs 3 inch actually makes a big difference since all I have underneath is an extra firm 3 inch later. Getting it right has been a project to say the least…

I purchased a Latex for Less bed less than 2 years ago that is giving me pain. According to my research Plush Beds, Eco Terra, & Latex for Less are all owned by the same person, Michael Hughes, and registered to the same corporate entity: Sleep, Inc. which is a California based company. When I called to discuss my problems they suggested I buy a topper from them. They didn’t ask my height or weight or if the mattress was too soft or too hard… I would stay away and go with a more reputable transparent company.

I agree with you, I decided against Plushbeds as well. I am going with San Diego Mattress Makers! And in the meantime, the SOL firm 3" topper with the Avocado soft/medium dunlop 3" topper has been working just fine for this transition phase. It’s been a journey!
