Pure Latex Bliss Pamper with Talalay topper

Hi Fehr,

The Pamper uses good quality materials and there are no “weak links” in the mattress so if you have done some careful and objective testing and it’s a good “match” for you in terms of PPP then from this perspective it would make a good quality choice. Blended Talalay latex is a high quality material.

In terms of the “value” of a mattress purchase … it would really depend on what else is available to you in your area and what you are comparing it to based on the parts of your personal value equation that are most important to you.

I don’t know the “mattress only” price which is the most effective way to make comparisons between mattresses (there are many foundations that can be used with a latex mattress and they can be compared or purchased separately) but in terms of it’s “commodity value” (which is only one part of the value of a mattress purchase and arguably not the most important part) it seems fair to me. Your mattress/topper has 11" of blended Talalay latex and would be more than some mattresses with the same or a similar amount of latex in a similar cover and less than others that would also make good choices but the number of inches of latex doesn’t say anything about how suitable a mattress may be in terms of PPP. Post #32 here includes some retailers that sell PLB mattresses online that may be worth talking to so you can make some “value comparisons” with the same mattress/topper that you purchased.
