So there is a new sytle mattress which looks like it has a dr scholls gell insert layered across the top. I wieght about 140 same with the wifey. Our current icomfort has sagged horriably. Do you think that is a concern with these materials? The mattress looks very interesting, did you see their “Raw Egg Demo”?
The buckling column gel is 2" thick and then there is a 3.25" layer of 1.8 lb polyfoam under the buckling column gel (this may be 3.5" thick because they list two different thicknesses in their FAQ and the description for each size) and a 4" 2.0 lb polyfoam base layer
While I can’t speak to how any mattress will “feel” for someone else or whether it will be a good “match” in terms of firmness, “comfort”, and PPP (Posture and alignment, Pressure relief, and your own Personal preferences) because this is too subjective and relative to different body types, sleeping positions, and individual preferences, sensitivities, and circumstances … you can see my comments about the materials in the Purple mattress in post #2 here.
