Quality Sleep Shop, La Grange, IL....Tim was AWESOME!!! - Mattress Arrival Update

Just had to post here about our experience at the Quality Sleep Shop in La Grange, IL not more than an hour ago.
We went in looking for a lower height king memory foam or latex mattress. The main reason we’re looking into the foam mattress is because getting a King Size coil mattress up to our bedroom is impossible without bending the mattress close to 45 degrees (which is what happened when we moved in over 10 years ago).
Tim greeted us promptly and you could tell immediate he was knowledgeable as well as genuine.
He listened intently as we explained our situation. After some back and forth discussion, we ended up purchasing 2 Twin X-Long Everlast Mattresses which are coil mattresses. We mentioned we found out about them from this website and got a 5% discount saving us about $50.

My wife is observant, mildly critical (in a good way), tough to please (in a good way) and knows what she want. We left the store with her smiling ear to ear, excited about our current mattress dilemma finally approaching a resolution.
Tim was low pressure, honest and extremely helpful in every way.

If Quality Sleep Shop is with in your travel diameter, you gotta get there. I give them the highest possible recommendation!
Thanks to Phoenix & The Mattress Underground too!

Thank you for your feedback! We are considering them too, all the way from GA.

It is much harder this way because we obviously won’t be able to try anything out - but we hope that by describing exactly what we need we will nail it just right.
When I talked to Tim on the phone he suggested 2 Everlast twin XL-s for us too, so I am very, very interested to hear more about your experience after a few weeks or so.

Thank goodness you didn’t get an all latex in classic King - those must be killer/“no budge” heavy.

Tim explained, to us at least, he was not as much of a fan of latex as he used to be. Plus my wife hears the word latex and she breaks out in hives…it was never an option.
The platform bed we have is about 22" high. So we needed a mattress no taller than 10", hence the Everlast.
We still may need to climb, but no more memory foam edge worries.
Will post back when we get them in about 10 days.

Hi MJ,

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback and experiences with Tim at Quality Sleep Shop.

As you know … you are certainly not alone in being impressed with the quality and value of their mattresses and the type of knowledge and service and “no pressure atmosphere” they provide to their customers.

Most importantly … congratulations on your new mattress

You certainly made a great quality/value choice and I’m also looking forward to your feedback after you’ve received it and have had a chance to sleep on it for a bit.

Our mattresses from Quality Sleep Show arrived last Monday. We called earlier in the day to verify delivery, and our concerns were addressed promptly. We requested we get a call 30 minutes in advance and Quality Sleep was happy to oblige (unlike Cable Service or Home Depot Deliveries). A couple of really nice college students arrived, set up the mattresses and were out the door in less than 15 minutes.

Tim was correct, the 2 Twin X-Long Everlast Mattresses work on the king size platform like a charm!
The mattresses are a bit on the firm side, which is what we wanted. Tim listened to what we said, asked a few questions and made his suggestion. The mattresses are easy to move and roll in; and very cool which is a plus in this 80’s degree weather.
We could not be more pleased.

To bad Tim does not run a pizza place, sports bar or burger joint or I’d be visiting him close to 7 days a week. As it is we only buy a mattress for our home every 5 years or so; but, from now on all our mattress needs will go through Quality Sleep Shop.
Could not give a higher recommendation!

Hi MJ,

Thanks for sharing another update … and it’s great to see things worked out so well for you!

I couldn’t agree more … and I also wish there were more businesses like them in every industry
