hi all,
I came across this site from a reddit post and i
there are some great resources out here.
However I would like some opinion on getting a decent quality queen size mattress under 400 since we are on a tight budget.
We tried couple of all foam mattress and the sealy 12 medium firm was fairly comfortable.
I an 5’11 aroung 180 lbs and my wife is 5’8 around 155 lbs. Both are side sleepers with occasional stomach down.
i realized from budget guide that 400 is a relatively less amount to expect top quality but I would like to see if something are available within this range that would not start hurting within a year or two years if use .

We do not make recommendations for specific mattresses (read more about why in this tutorial here, particularly point #4) or mattress brands unless they are thoroughly vetted Trusted Members of our site.
Unfortunately, our trusted members do not offer a queen mattress within your <$400 range. You may find this New York Times articlehelpful, it discusses a number of “cheap” mattresses in this price range, as well as some safety concerns when going this route. If you see one or two of these models and have questions, we will be happy to help you understand whether they may be a short-term fit for you both .
