Question regarding trails and weight

Hi.
My husband and I used to sleep on a old serta which started to sag and cause back issues in both of us.
We tried a latex next, that did not work out, then novobed -we found too soft and painful.
We then tried the Douglas. It was never perfect but was the best by far. It’s a bit hard to move around at times, that stuck feeling but only slightly. So this month when we went to upgrade to a king size for co sleep reasons we decided to try something new.
The hamuq. We’ve only used it 2 nights so far, my husband seems to like it but I am in agony lol, shoulder pain, very bad low back pain and just can’t get comfortable. It feels like it’s pushing back at me everywhere.
I’m wondering what to do! Is this just an adjustment period thing ? Or likely to continue?
For reference my husband is tall with a slightly above average weight and I am short and currently over weight.
Any ideas what to do or what might work better?

I’d like to give the bed a fair trail but with this much pain not sure I can…

After writing this I was reading up on the tips for weight and firmness here.
I went to Hamuq s website but can’t seem to find any info in the foam and thickness…maybe I just missed it but if anyone knows that would be good info.
