I bought Stearns & Foster Rockwell at a major Manhattan store. It was a reselection from a Sferra mattress, which was awful. The S&F is worse - it is obviously NOT a new mattress which was promised for the reselection process. It has hollows at the sides and center and it is lumpy. They allowed me a second re-selection. I read reviews that Stearns & Foster has numerous durability issues, so I was afraid to pick the Stearns & Foster Hepburn. I chose Beautyrest Black Hybrid KX. I am worried that the second re-selection will be another used mattress. I’m also worried that I won’t like the Beautyrest. I want a firm, flat mattress with some bounce. Will be very grateful for any advice you may have. TIA.
I have no way of predicting whether you’ll like the BR, but I’d suggest making it clear to them before delivery that you’ll only accept a brand new mattress for this replacement and not a return or display model.
