Sixty days ago we received our SleepEZ 10000 latex mattress and unfortunately the comfort slowly changed to the point of unsatisfactory for several reasons. We agreed that we would not be satisfied 60 days from now or 6 years from now. So we returned it.
I’m happy to announce that SleepEZ honors their return policy of 100% refund (minus $99 return shipping) no questions asked, no hassle return, just as promised at time of purchase.
I contacted the office and received return packaging instructions and shipping labels. As soon as the mattress arrived at their destination, they acknowledged receipt and expedited a refund the same day.
[quote]Hi! I am super curious what you felt like changed? The support, or you just didn’t like the feel anymore?
Thank you.

Hi Marilyn,
We purchased a split configuration mattress. The split configuration would probably have worked better if the base layer (firm) was one piece versus the six piece configuration. The middle of the bed, or layer seam offered no support between me/her and the slats. In other words, if you were to roll towards the middle, the seam would suck you in and you’re awakened by either the rolling off sensation or the uncomfortable wood slats pressing against hips and shoulders. The seam severely lacks support.
The other major discomfort was being awakened by the weak edge of an all latex mattress. We are side sleepers and we both experienced the feeling of rolling off the bed several times which startled us awake.
Does the latex soften? Definitely. No surprise there.
Her soft/med/firm remained more comfy than my med/soft/firm. My initial comfort on the soft/med/firm was very good. After thirty days I began to feel some minor discomfort in the lower back region so I switched out to med/soft/firm. Again, the comfort changed and the ache disappeared for about 14 days and it returned after the mattress softened. I couldn’t change out to firm/soft/medium. That was too uncomfortable and I couldn’t fall asleep on that configuration.
I believe the split configuration mattress was as close to comfortable as possible but lacked underlying support needed to bring it to 100%. Knowing this, we decided to return the mattress and seek a mattress with better underlying support.
We were completely satisfied with the quality of goods and customer service. We just didn’t find the mattress suitable for us. It happens.
Thanks for the update and for sharing your experience … I appreciate it.
I’m sorry to hear that your mattress didn’t work out for you as well as you hoped for but it’s good to hear that your return process was as smooth and painless as it was.
It seems that you are one of the few that didn’t do as well on a split firmness mattress and I hope that the next mattress you choose works out better for you.
I’m looking forward to finding out what you end up deciding for your next mattress.
