We just purchased 2 1/2 King SULTAN ALSARP bases for the king sized latex mattress we plan to purchase very soon. Bases here: Products - IKEA
Does anyone foresee any problems with these bases before we assemble them?
We plan on putting them up on 7 7/8" Oak legs also from Ikea, any problems with raising the base?

This is a fairly new mattress so there isn’t a lot of feedback about it yet but a forum search on Dreamfoam Freedom will bring up a few comments about it.
It uses mostly synthetic continuous pour Dunlop latex which is a high quality and durable material compared to other types of foam materials but isn’t quite as “supportive” or resilient as Dunlop latex that has a higher natural rubber content in the same firmness level. Like any component mattress that has multiple layers with different firmness levels it has the advantage of being able to customize the mattress after a purchase by rearranging the layers inside the cover (which can also be reversed and has different firmness levels on each side). Of course it also has the cost benefits that come with synthetic latex which is a less costly material that latex that has a higher natural rubber content.

I’m not familiar with the construction of this base but if it has a solid non flexing slat system with gaps that are no more than 3" apart and in queen size or larger it also has a good center support with legs that provide good support to the floor then it should be fine.
If you plan on raising the base then again I would make sure that there was good center support to the floor to prevent any sagging in the base over time. In queen size this would normally mean at least one leg under the midbeam but two or more would be better yet.
