Does anyone know the difference between the Rize Contemporary VS Rize Contemporary II adjustable bed frames?
I have the Rize Contemporary and so far very satisfied. I’m just a geek and am curious of the differences.

Hi Walker,
The only differences I can see are the difference in the appearance and fabric, the Contemporary II has 4 smaller retainer clips (one close to each corner that push in) and the Contemporary has a single wider retainer clip on the foot end of the bed that uses screws, the Contemporary has caster legs and the Contemporary II has post legs, and the Contemporary II has two AC plugins (one on each side of the bed) that the Contemporary doesn’t have. I can’t see any other differences in their functions and the weight limits are the same.
Hopefully Jeff from MattressToGo (who carries Rize) and is a member of the forum here will chime in if I’ve missed anything.

Phoenix, you are correct. There are very few differences between the products. The real reason to go to the Contemporary II (besides needing an extra AC outlet) is if you have an innerspring “adjustable friendly” mattress. Having the clips at the head and the foot of the product allows the base unit to effectively “squeeze” the mattress and make it conform to the base better than a unit without those head clips. That would be my big reason for recommending the Contemporary II over the traditional Contemporary. Otherwise, they’re both very nice products and getting five-segment adjustability is a worthwhile feature.
