Hello there, I have been a member and searched your forums for about 7 months now and it’s been such a great resource. We actually purchased a new mattress back in July of 2020, a Luma Hybrid Slumber System medium with a 3" talalay topper, and so far it’s been great we may switch out the topper for their plush as I do have some pressure points on my hips but it’s very slight. Just as an FYI I’m 5’5" 160 my husband is 6’5" 200, I am a combo sleeper side and stomach mostly but sometimes back, my husband sleeps mostly on his side or back.
Anyways we’re on the hunt again for a new rv mattress, the only size constraint is thickness less than 12" ideally 11 or 10 and a Queen. So since it’s for the rv we didn’t want to spend the same amount we spent on the mattress we bought for the house, it’s also 15" thick which is too much as there are cabinets above the head of the bed.
So where I’m at right now, just got the Ghost Bed Original thinking latex comfort layer should be similar to my Luma, nope nope it’s like sleeping on concrete my legs started to tingle and go numb almost immediately and I couldn’t sleep on the bed honestly it was just too firm… So looking for some recommendations on a new bed that’s not very thick and would prefer latex as we like the bouncy cushy comfort of our Luma Sleep hybrid and the feel of the talalay topper. Ideally like to stay around 1000 maybe less, it’s for the RV.
