Saatva changed their latex type... any thoughts?

I have been looking at Saatva Latex Hybrid for a while, and recently realized they are no longer listing Talalay latex as their ingredient. I was able to find one article on the 'net (NY Times I believe) that confirmed Saatva recently changing from Talalay to Dunlop latex across the board. Unfortunately, there are literally no other articles or reviews discussing the implications of this change.

I reached out to Saatva live chat, and was able to get a confirmation of this. The customer service rep confirmed that all latex in Saatva mattresses is now Dunlop. They stated this is due to “supply chains” and proceeded to mention that Dunlop is a “greener” latex process. They were also able to give me the ILD rating of around 20 (range 18-22) for their new Dunlop latex.

Also, the rep stated there is no independent certification of the latex; however, when asked specifically what percentage is natural vs synthetic content, they replied “100% natural”.

And now the question: what do the respected experts and forum members think of this change? Good, bad, irrelevant? Is the ILD rating of any help here?

Thanks,
GB.
