Wife and I recently went to a small savvy rest dealer and did a mattress fitting. We mostly wanted to see what latex had to offer aside from an enclosed pranasleep at another chain store. It was very informative as we thought about ordering an all latex bed online and glad we didn’t becasue we didnt care for it. Hoping to have a quote tomorrow for this.
After trying out many options and layers we agreed upon the hybrid serenity line. Medium 8" coils. Top layer 3" talalay soft on her side Medium on mine. This set up was nice buy itself but then we tested a few toppers that we can not decide between.
One was an all wool, other 3" of soft talalay, last was 3" soft talalay in basically another mattress casing. We may go back and try these again another day to see if one stands out.
Is there anything out there that compares to this set up. Does doing a topper provide any advantage over adding another talalay layer inside the case? Organic is a nice but it is not essential in a product.
Lastly were hoping to get a similar feel in a 6-8" thick case for our rv (short queen).
