I was recently visiting my family in Mexico. They had a mattress that was absolutely perfect on my very fussy back. I wrote down the model but cannot find anything about it. It was marked "Sealy posturepedic Serie 520 or maybe 52Q? At the bottom it said Blossom. It is dark blue with a gray small pillow top. I live in a small town and the furniture store here had no idea. Is it a hopeless search? I just want to know more about it so I can find something similar. Thank you so much for any ideas!

It’s not uncommon for big brands to have mattress models specifically for sale in certain countries. I have lived in Mexico for the last 7 year and so I did a little digging and it appears that, yes, the Sealy Posturepedic Serie 520" a Mexico specific mattress. A quick internet search using my Mexican IP address pulled it up in a few places.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find a comparable/similar model with the keyword “blossom” - it may be a long shot but could you try contacting Sealy directly to see if they would know if there is a comparable US model or the same mattress by a different name in the US?
I’m not sure how close you are to the border, but if you’re not far, you could also buy and transport the mattress.

Yay! That is great news. I’ll be really interested to hear any report you may have once you’ve spoken with Sealy. I’ve always found it interesting when big brands have country-specific models, and have never been able to quite figure out the game as far as finding their match in another country (or if there even is a comparable model to a mattress found abroad).
