Searching for a new mattress

Hello,

I am currently searching for a new mattress, this will be my first mattress purchase and I am completely in the dark and would like some recommendations.

I am looking for a memory foam type mattress that will not get too hot. I am 5’10" and about 150 lbs. I typically sleep on my back but will sometimes sleep on my side.

The first place to start your research is the tutorial post here which has all the basic information, steps, and guidelines that you will need to make the best possible choice … and know how and why to avoid the worst ones.
