is it the case that shipping both wasy if returned are now free for all members for all mattresses, not judt the one? also what about getting expanded foam back into it’s packaging. i understand this can be impossible, alan

You can see the details of their return policy here for all their mattresses and for all their customers. They arrange for the return shipping (which of course wouldn’t involve compressing the mattress which requires special machinery).
