Can you suggest or recommend any places to look for mattresses local to me?
I am in the Wappingers / Poughkeepsie NY area (12590).
Any ideas are appreciated. Before I found this forum, my wife and I visited a Sleepy’s - it was fine at first, but then the “car dealer” tactics started, which was quite a turn off. They wanted us to buy a My Side Series 6 King set immediately (we liked how it felt). From what I read here, we can do better.
There aren’t a lot of great options in your area but the better ones … or at least the better possibilities that I’m aware of are listed in post #4 here.
This is fairly typical of chain stores as you probably know. I’m glad you found us before you pulled the trigger on a My Side series 6. Not only could you do better … it would be difficult to do much worse
