I love the Dunlop latex mattress I bought a month or so ago from Sleep Essentials in Roanoke, VA - it’s a bit of a drive from Charlottesville, but well worth the trip we made from Martinsville to Roanoke (twice, because I wanted to be sure).
Mattress has no fire retardants, requires prescription from MD or chiropractor, which proved to be no problem, and also made the mattress tax free and tax deductible. $1800 out the door for queen 9" mattress (6" core, 3" comfort layer) encased in a lovely soft bamboo zip on cover. I absolutely love the mattress - I got the softest one, but they had four models of all latex, and lots of other mattresses. I knew I wanted latex, so I didn’t look at what else was available.
I think SavvyRest is in Charlottesville - much more expensive, but if you do a search of them on the forum you’ll turn up a lot more information than you will about Sleep Essentials.
I’m sure Phoenix has a list of Charlottesville and area mattress dealers here on the forum somewhere - try searching “Charlottesville” and you’ll probably find it.
