My wife and I (ages 53 and 63) think that it’s time to replace our 10 yr old king size mattress and box spring, and I was looking at buying a Spring Air Miranda Latex Plush from Costco when I came across your excellent Forum. Do you have any recommendations for good local sources of mattresses/advice in the Phoenix, AZ area?

You are very fortunate to live in the area because 4 of the manufacturing members of the site are based there and you have the chance to test their mattresses in person while most of the forum members can only order them online.

We proceeded to buy our mattress and foundation from Sleep Ez America in Scottsdale, after visiting their retail showroom, trying a few combinations and getting fine service and advice from both Cristina and the owner, Sean.
Update: the delivery team just left our house, having arrived right on time and quickly assembling our new bed. We would highly recommend this family-owned local factory.
