Shoulder pain on Sleep on Latex medium mattress

Hi guys, I am looking for some advice. I have been sleeping on a Sleep on Latex medium firmness mattress (with a 2" soft topper from them as well) for about a year now. I am a 6’ 185lb side sleeper and have been having discomfort in my shoulder pretty much the whole time. However, I’m worried about adding any more toppers/making it softer because I already feel like my hips/lower back are sinking in a bit too far. I would like to keep the mattress so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to improve this? I was thinking maybe a different kind of topper that is not dunlop would make a difference. If not, I am willing to go the DIY route and use my dunlop topper as one of the layers. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks so much!

Hey sgriff96,

Welcome to The Mattress Underground  ! My apologies for the delayed response and thanks for your question.

Thanks for your mattress purchase from trusted member Sleep On Latex  ! They are highly experienced in both the latex category and in product design, and offer great value as well. I am sorry to hear that you’ve experienced shoulder discomfort which isn’t improving, that must be quite frustrating to continually deal with. Question: have you reached out to SOL regarding their thoughts on improving the mattress’s comfort feel? That would be the best place to start. We can contact them on your behalf for a response to your question if you like, just let us know  .
