Similar to Aireloom?

Hello!

I have begun the process of buying a mattress and am hoping for some help finding a partner equivalent for the mattresses I tried hopefully with a smaller price tag. I live in a small town with a fair drive from many of the factories so may need to order online without trying the exact mattress. The most comfortable and supportive mattress I have tried was the Aireloom 900 medium soft (green) at bob mills and the Aireloom Onyx Preferred Thornton Luxetop Plush Mattress https://denvermattress.furniturerow.com/pd/Aireloom/Aireloom-Onyx-Preferred-Thornton-Luxetop-Plush-Mattress/a556424b-570e-496b-9daa-d313cf9ea43a?Cat=Mattresses|Aireloom

My wife and I are both 5’6" 155. She sleeps fine with most things but I have upper back/lower neck problems with firm mattresses and lower back problems with a very soft mattresses. I am looking at Texas mattress makers Siena or Florence or the sleep ez hybrid, but am wondering if they will give us the same feel as the Aireloom. I feel like the urban mattress bloom line might be another to consider that might be close. Thanks for any recommendations or thoughts on next steps.

I’ve owned the firm version of the Aireloom mattress you linked to so am very familiar with it. It’s an ultra-luxury mattress designed with several features which make it have a unique feel compared with its competition in the marketplace. While I’d like to be able to point you to another alternative which has a similar feel and level of support at a lower price I’m unaware of any such option. I’m a very big guy and ultimately ended up returning the Aireloom since it failed to provide me with sufficient support, but at your weights it could be an ideal match given how comfortable and supportive you found it. One thing to keep in mind is that they’re often available at sale prices which are significantly less than the prices shown on the Denver Mattress site. Macy’s sells them with a different model name but you can match them up based on the detailed listing of its features, and you can easily check their sale prices when they’re reduced usually around most holidays. You could also mention the discounts you’ve seen to Denver Mattress and they might consider matching the sale price from another authorized dealer.

Many thanks Bill! I will certainly see if DM will match. In the meantime, are there any other luxury type mattresses you can think of with similar but perhaps fewer components you might be able to recommend from the trusted partners list- even without the same Aireloom feel? More than anything I am trying to find similar support and alignment. Any more info I can provide?

Out of curiosity- What mattress do you have now and is the feel vastly different from your Aireloom? Thanks again!

I’m really not aware of any other mattresses at a lower price similar in feel and support to the Aireloom Luxetop models. The lower cost models in Aireloom’s Hybrid line which they sell at Macy’s don’t compare, and Macy’s even admitted that they only came out with those to have something to compete with more mainstream brands at a lower price. I ended up with a DIY latex mattress constructed with layers of extra firm Dunlop for support and firm Talalay for comfort, and while it is very firm and provides great support for my size it doesn’t compare in cushioned comfort or pressure relief to the Aireloom Luxetop mattress.

Thanks again- I have been looking at a latex build too. Seems like a good option for some people. I’ll get back to research!

Best wishes.

Kma,

The Aireloom mattress that you are looking at is amazing. They are impossible to replicate, so dont even try. Dont buy the Macys line of Aireloom either because they have fewer coils and cheaper materials.

Your mattress is the Aireloom Preferred M1 Luxetop Plush. For me, I like the M1 Luxetop Firm. At Ortho Mattress, your mattress is called Aireloom Chester Plush. M1 refers to 1 layer of microcoils. You can search for an Aireloom on craigslist or Ebay. Or you can wait for a sale at Denver Mattress. Id stay away from the Macys Aireloom mattresses because they did not feel as good as the genuine Aireloom M1 Luxetop Firm.

Amazing- thank you John! I’m going to check those out now.

Kma,

Can you call me?
