Simmons Beautyrest Black Hybrid mattress

I’m in the market for a new mattress.
I’m a side sleeper and experience lumbar pain when I first get up that I attribute to insufficient support.
I’m not sold on the all foam mattresses for the overall support I need and I’ve visited the Mattress Firm as well as Nature’s Sleep to look at their offerings.
The staff at the Mattress Firm was not knowledgeable regarding foam density and the IFD (?) of the mattreses they sell.
After trying several different types, both all coil and hybrid (50/50 coil-foam)
I think I prefer the Simmons Beautyrest Black Hybrid mattress.
First question: What is the reputation of Simmons overall?
Second: How about their hybrid mattresses? The noted mattress is 14 inches in depth with half of that in coils and 3 kinds of foam.
Third: The guarantee alludes to the measurement a permanent deflection that may not be measurable.

Bottom line is this mattress worth $2,500.00 and will it give me the lasting support I’m looking for.

Hi beemerdude,

My reply to your questions would be the same as my reply in post #2 here about another major brand mattress and as you can see I would avoid all of the major brands completely.

It certainly isn’t a mattress that I would consider no.
