Hi rose

Sleep On Latex’s Earthfoam is one of a crowded field of Dunlop latex mattresses due to its unique combination of quality, transparency, and value. Sleep On Latex owns the factory in Sri Lanka where its Earthfoam latex is produced. This allows them to control the process. Earthfoam uses 100% GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex is certified by GOTS and OEKO-TEX, as is many others in this sector of the industry.

In terms of feel, Earthfoam like many other Dunlop foam offers a dense, supportive, and slightly firm sleeping surface typical of most Dunlop latex that are properly sourced and processed with quality, integrity and high standards.

Overall, Earthfoam is just one of many in a crowded field that offers a Eco-conscious, ethically produced, and competitively priced all-latex mattresses on the market.

Any latex foam manufacturer with the right equipment and expertise could can produce latex in the Dunlop process to achieve a similar feel. It may take some trial and error, but Earthfoam’s process isn’t magical, they chose to modify their process careful engineering and proprietary tweaks that give them their own feel.

From a practical standpoint, Earthfoam isn’t inherently better than any other high-quality, responsibly processed Dunlop latex. The real question is: is it better for you? If Earthfoam’s specific formulation and construction deliver the feel and support you’re looking for, then yes, it’s the better choice for you. But if another manufacturer’s Dunlop latex mattress feels more comfortable to you, then that one is better. Comfort and performance are deeply personal.

At The Mattress Underground, we don’t “review” or “rank” any specific products. Instead, our goal is to help you understand what matters, materials, construction, certifications, and feel, so you can make an informed decision based on your unique needs and preferences.

Hope this helps,

Hi @rosekw
I have actually tried products from Sleep on Latex and I can share a bit based on my experience.

Their latex topper using the enhanced Dunlop process really does feel different from standard Dunlop. It has a more balanced feel soft enough to relieve pressure but still supportive. It is not too springy like Talalay which I personally prefer. Great for people who like natural materials and want a non toxic sleep surface.

If you are unsure, I recommend starting with the 2-inch medium topper. It made a big difference in my sleep quality without changing my whole mattress. Also, their return policy is decent if it does not work for you.

Hope this helps😊
