Please suggest the soft feeling pillows for side sleepers, pillows that don’t mush up and lose their height.
Thanks
Hi richardb,

I was doing some research on the internet the other day and came across a pillow with a few dozen reviews (I wish I’d saved the link) which more than most was a great example about how subjective firmness and softness really is. In reading the reviews there were just as many who said it was very firm as there were who said it was very soft and everything in between and each one was adamant that they were “right”. In other words … firmness and softness is very subjective and each person has a very different idea of what feels soft and firm. This is especially true with pillows which are such a personal item that outside of the basic needs (keeping your head and neck in alignment in all your sleeping positions) they are really a personal preference choice.
NOE: I found the page here.
I’ve switched your post to the pillow thread so you can read through it to get a sense of what type of material you may prefer from some of the resources and feedback listed in the thread but in the end your own personal experiences and testing are really the best way to choose a pillow because there is no way to know if someone else feels the same way you will feel about any pillow. In terms of materials and durability … the same guidelines as mattress materials would apply and higher quality materials will be more durable and keep their original properties for longer.

can you tell me out of all tempurpedic pillows which ones would best suite me as a side sleeper and someone who prefers soft feeling pillow?
that will at least narrow it down somewhat. thanks
Hi Richardb,
According to Tempurpedic … their two softest pillows are the Tempur-Cloud and the X-Soft Tempur traditional pillow. They also say that both of them are suitable for all three sleeping positions.
I don’t have any personal experience with either of them.
