stretchable wool toppers ?

no such thing exists - correct ?

you can buy a stretch knit mattress cover - and it would make sense to put directly over foam - except i don’t want to sleep directly over foam.

so if you are going to put a wool topper between a stretch knit cover and plush foam - it will then become the weakest link in terms of plushness - right ?

none of the wool toppers i looked at even claimed to be strechable. is this simply not possible with wool ?

by the way the ones i already have look like they will stretch permanently and never come back to their original shape.

Hi g1981c,

Wool toppers are not “stretchy” no.

They can be resilient however and could benefit from a stretch knit material either around or over it.

The feel and performance of a wool topper will depend on the type and species of wool used, the method of carding, layering, construction, the amount of wool used, crimping, and other factors that various manufacturers will share with you if you call them.
