Looking for suggestions on best (softer) replacement layer for Nest Alexander mattress from 2018- 3" needed…not sure if the layer i have (firm) is best for me, petite 4’11/ 97 lbs, side sleeper with scoliosis- mattress has been “ok” over the years, but lately feeling some hip discomfort (both sides) so thinking time for new layer…or whole new mattress? Would seek out different brand as Nest has changed in customer service:(- Any suggestions for 2025 best latex layer (talay?) appreciated, thanks!
Hello DHunn262.
Thanks for posting this in our Mattress Forum!
Is Nest unable to provide a layer swap for you?
You may wish to look at Arizona Premium for individual layers.
If layer exchanges are possible, a new mattress isn’t necessary. Especially given your slight stature, the materials in the bed will unlikely be worn down in any significant way.
It does sound like you need a slightly softer layer to sink into given your light weight and pressure points. Have you considered adding a topper to troubleshoot?
