Thanks for the best mattress info out there

Hello,

My husband and I have been researching mattresses like crazy, and we’re more confused than ever. Last year we bought a Bob-o-Pedic, and we hate it so much we’re ready for a new mattress. After our bad memory foam experience, my husband wants to go back to an inner spring. After sleeping on a Hilton Garden Inn sleep system bed, I’ve been lobbying for Natural Form.

Today I contacted Natural Form, and there’s no way for us to try the bed, other than driving to Bennington VT, from CT. or spending the night at a Hilton Garden Inn. Plus I read some iffy reviews, and the cost is 3K + for a queen. Hubby is not wild about the air bed idea either. Then I discovered your web site, became a member, and found a local custom design place in CT.

I called the store in Westport CT. and spoke with the president of the company, Bob. The cost for a custom designed queen is $2700. One side designed for me, one for him. (I’m small, he’s big) I mentioned Mattress Underground to Bob, and he said you’re the most savvy person out there about mattresses. He also mentioned the 5% discount to members. They’ll even come to our home and do adjustments if needed. Thank you for being here!

Hi Rebecca,

As you probably know … I think highly of Custom Sleep Designs and how they build their mattresses. Their zoning is like the difference between a custom fitted suit or outfit and buying one off the rack and perhaps making some adjustments. They are especially helpful with more difficult challenges like a couple with a large weight difference or different needs and preferences.

You also have the advantage of being able to test the different configurations in person instead of having to “work it out” online which is a “bonus” as well.

It’s always great to see the members here looking at some of the excellent options available to them that have real quality and value

Thanks for the kind words and I’m looking forward to hearing about what you decide on.
