Hi all - we converted our second bedroom into a study, and this meant getting a well-regarded Sleeper Sofa by American Leather. The mattress is a little firm, and I was wondering what some good options would be for a topper that would store well in a small room. I’m open to almost any material, the biggest priority (unfortunately) is that it packs down well, since we’re very limited on space.

Many of our Trusted Members sell toppers that would be good options for your sofa bed but I’m unsure exactly how well they’d store.
I myself have been trying to decide on an option to use as a floor bed to crash on when I’m visiting my mom and storage is a factor for me too. I immediately thought of shikibuton type bedding (about 4" thick) since it’s meant to be stored during the day. Of course a 2" topper could be rolled and stored in a closet.
Sorry I don’t have any ready recommendations here! If anyone in the forum sees this and has a good lead on easy to store, durable toppers I hope they add their two cents.
